I would ask for a Macbook Pro or a nice blazer, but the former is too expensive and the latter my mother thinks "goes out of style too quickly."

I'm thinking about asking for the Bose QC25 headphones (what we got my Dad for his last birthday).

Curious if there are better alternatives to the QC25 headphones. The sound quality to me is sub-par, but acceptable: I would like stronger bass, and more in the mid and high range to "feel" the music. As the headphones stand, they're amazing just because of the noise cancellation (which is the primary reason I want them).

You're right, I'm the guy who bought BOSE headphones for my father.

I do specifically want noise cancellation. Seems it would be better to purchase two pairs of headphones one for noise cancellation and one for audio quality... and glue them together... <_<
