When Pope Frances spoke out about the dangers of climate change, and mans influence on it. The papal speech drew much scorn from the republican candidates who are all trying to curry favor from the small group of extreme right conservatives. Jeb Bush, following in his brother's footsteps decided to become incited over Pope Frances's speech and figured he would set things right, By making the statement that the Pope really should keep out of issues like climate change because he is a religious leader and not a scientist. He should just leave the science stuff to the scientists. After making the statement guess what some fact finders uncovered (fairly common knowledge) The pope was indeed a scientist before he became a holy man.

The former front-runner in the race for the Republican presidential nomination—who struggles to get above single digits in the polls—has frequently played the fool on the 2016 campaign trail.

But he will have a hard time topping his argument against accepting Pope Francis’ counsel on the need to fight climate change. After the pontiff urged members of Congress to engage with the rest of the world in “courageous actions and strategies” to combat global warming, Bush declared that the pope’s call should be disregarded.

Why? Because, Bush announced, “He’s not a scientist, he’s a religious leader.”

Bush, who is Catholic and who has attended mass with Pope Francis, needs to study up on the pontiff’s background in science. And on the rigorous research that underpins the pope’s advocacy on climate-change issues.

Before he chose to pursue the priesthood, the future pope trained as a chemical technician. Writers for the National Catholic Reporter reference “his training as a scientist” and point out that the young Jorge Mario Bergoglio “worked as a chemist prior to entering the seminary.” http://www.thenation.com/article/on-climate-change-listen-to-pope-francis-not-jeb-bush/

This is funny because it paints egg all over Jeb's face. But it highlights what the survey someone shared last week. The republicans are really just making shit up, from their stance on immigration and abortion. Which changed within seconds on the stage during the debate for some. How the heck are you going to trust a thing they say?

But worse what kind of desperate campaign riddled with lies and innuendo will there be this time? When is enough Enough? at first it's funny and then it's annoying but after a while it's shameful. What the actual fuck has our country come to when Jeb seems like the decent candidate? because he doesn't scream his lies?

Well Jorge Mario Bergoglio was only chemist technician, better than nothing.
Climate change is not compatible with republicans in anyway...

And for the people to say the science is decided on this is just really arrogant, to be honest with you it's this intellectual arrogance that now you can't have a conversation about it even.

But does have a scientific background and concurs with the scientific community's consensus. Jeb has no point. He's the down syndrome runt of a pretty disappointing litter.

...he wouldn't change his views even if it was a scientist speaking whose lifelong studies revolved around the subject of climate change.

I fucking hate these candidates.

It may prove smart to keep an eye on the runt..I can see just a flicker of pure rage building inside of him, I think if Donald get's the GOP nod, Jeb could slip off the edge. Either that or he's just really confused about something.

Yes, but if he followed his own point this would be a non-issue. Scientists have reached overwhelming consensus that we're messing up the environment somehow.
