being up to date with latest news would be nice, but sometimes real life events take precedence. interviewing for residencies becomes very time consuming =)
if a mailman has a conscientious objection to walking on snow and is refusing to deliver mail as a result, i don't think he should go to jail, but i certainly think he should be relieved of duty.
same in this situation, if she's unfit to fulfill legal responsibilities, she should be replaced with someone who can do the job. jail time seems a bit much for me.
