The questions are terrible and make a variety of assumptions that a "government" need regulate a variety of things where in other entities could do the job.

Specifically - which question was that? And weren't you allowed to answer between "totally approve" and "totally disagree", so regardless of how the questions were worded - you were totally free to make your own choice?

The test fails on some pretty key nuances.

Of course I don't root for random multinational entities, but the counterpart to that isn't left-wing internationalism.

Most of them. The questions subtly make leftist positions more appealing in the way they are worded. For example look at question one:

"If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations."

Obviously any sensible person would say strongly agree, but this question is no where close to being neutral. (FYI i'm anti corporatism this is just an illustration)

I scored -2.5, 0 and i know enough about myself to know that's far from accurate.

how can you strongly disagree with abstract art? if i shit on a canvas it's shit on a canvas. if i then display it in a museum it becomes art. it's that simple.

it was a Pollock answer :D

sure but you don't know how much weight is given to any question and answer. maybe answering strongly agree to that question has 0/0 effect but disagreeing gives a big swing to the right. it's obviously loaded but whatever.
