i need help praying sometimes and wouldn't mind actually talking to someone (rather than face to face) do these phone lines exist?

A lot of pastors keep themselves open for a similiar purpose but I think prayer is just meant to be between a person and God...

I don't pray too much myself because I don't really have any wants that need god's attention, but I should probably pray more in thanks.

Prayer is simply just talking to God. Get on your knees (or what I like to do, sit on the floor in my closet with the door closed) and conversate with Him just like a regular person. Of course the devil will try to make you feel like it's silly and awkward, but God appreciates it, and He understands. We all have to start somewhere, and that's giving Him something to work with, rather than not praying at all because you feel you aren't good at it.

it is ALWAYS good to come together as Christans and pray for one another. dont mistake that. I would recommend finding a church that you are comfortable with. that way you have people that can get to know you and pray with you when ever needed.

Consult your local pastor first as an in person experience may be best.
As said ,you should do EVERYTHING in prayer. Ask God to provide his words when you speak, his thoughts when you act, etc.
