I don't know where to start. Diabetes statistics? Obese babies? The sugar lobby's success in burying health reports on sugar both here at home and in the WHO? The myth of calories in and calories out? Once again, an industry has played the public to the cost of millions of lives and trillions of dollars. Politicians are bought and paid for and no one will be held accountable. The same old theme of greed continues to wreak havoc on a scale that can not be quantified.
My disgust for humanity has plateaud.

Calories in/Calories out isn't a myth lol.

Overeating is the #1 cause of being overweight.

Yes it is. You think 2k calories in sugar is the same as 2k calories in green leafy vegetables? Learn how metabolism works, learn what gets instantly turned into sugar, and learn how the body reacts.

Excess sugar is a very significant cause of obesity, but that's because of its caloric content.

To an extent it is. You ever read about the professor who went on a twinkie diet and lost weight?

If you eat less calories than you burn a day, even if it's all crap, you will lose weight.

In terms of raw energy, yes. In terms of your metabolism, no it's not. Your metabolism has a tremendous effect on how many calories you burn.
