I actually enjoyed the community and to see how far I could push the limits back in the day, trying to get a certain number for the chain or taking on no maze catas with guild mates and going for that 9 wave clear and thinking you were gods.

This game was fun because it was challenging. Now it seriously is all about wasting time in my eyes. There are no real achievements.

I remember for the longest time I would stay at level 55 looking for white items to throw in the well and try and find a good item. I would save all whites from my climbing characters and just keep welling on my 55 character and as soon as I was close to hitting 56, I would die over and over again till I was back to 0% exp at 55. While all you nerds were in it for the gps, I was in it for improving my items and making that fg.

Done a mirror maze these days? More challenging than a full mcc for sure.

That's the thing though. Way too much time in one sitting thrown into such a simple game for a challenge these days. It's all just a matter of opinion and preference though.

I would have loved to be able to play the old ladder slasher while in college though. Would have been a nice way to take a small study break.
