So pretty much the only evidence so far is 'my grandmother said he said it'?

...

There is her testimony her Grand mother's and a Co-worker who witnessed her firing.

It's clearly written in the constitution that no government official or agent shall be given religious test or duty as a requirement to hold a position...that's off memory so don't quote me.

I said should, not will

in a reasonable world these would be the consequences

So essentially there is no official record of her being fired for religious reasons? Nothing but hearsay?

Doesnt even seem worth a thread...there is no evidence one way or the other. And there's no chance for meaningful discussion because even the religious of this sub hold the Separation of Church and State to be valid.

Situation 1: no actual firing for religious reasons took place, everyone religious and not agree the woman should be fined for frivolous lawsuit and tried for perjury

Situation 2: an actual firing for religious reasons took place, everyone religious and not agree the man should be punished for the breach of church and state

Either way everyone agrees.

When i make generalizations they automatically ignore statistical outliers.

You might think that everyone would agree, but it's amazing how parts of the constitution are held near and dear yet other parts are crumpled up and walked on.

Well Widow doesnt agree, but i dont consider that a rational position. Most of the "good" threads we have here are two rational individuals arguing from rational positions. Most of the "bad" threads are rational individuals pitted against irrational individuals.

I can agree the constitution isnt worth the same these days, that tends to happen to legal documents over 250 years, especially when most of the language is up to interpretation lol. If the guy gets caught for firing someone based on church attendance rational individuals of all beliefs will be glad to see him punished.
