Not sure how it should be done but could really help and make things easier when posting images

sometimes when you take photos in your phone and upload it through it, it shows on max size which is way too big and uncomfertable for viewing

Would do it like:
To limit an image to maximum of 600x600 (example) code:
Code
[IMG=Medium]your image[/IMG]

Thoughts?

Yes I like it, for now you are dependant on the site where you upload and they dont offer all resizing sometimes or you have to look around for minutes..
This combined with the post preview possibility would be so easy tbh. Great idea imo :)
So voted Yes.

The commands exist in BBCode already, whether or not their activated is another thing.

The commands are as it follows,

Code
[img w=300]img url[/img] to scale width

[img h=200]img url[/img] to scale height

[img w=100 h=50]img url[/img] to scale both

Unfortunately there is no presets such as Medium, large, etc. To my knowledge, BUT macro buttons like the VIDEO player and such, can be placed for it with ease.

And also unfortunately, I don't believe there would be anyway to activate this option in Photo Gallery that I know of, which honestly is where I have the most issues with large images, beings as I JSP on my mobile device 90% of the time, huge images are a pain and have to be scaled manually via zoom

I vote yes on this! :)

Choosing h&w would be overkill.. people wont be using that.. i think we just need a way to limit it or even make it auto resize every big photo thats being posted in the forums to something reasonable

Auto resizing would be ok in most forums, but not in S/A or photography sections for example. I do like the idea of being able to chose what size you want it to post as. Voting yes on the initial idea.

As far as i know even if its auto resized , the source stays the same so you can take the source link from properties and see it full sized..

But tbh i dont mind it.. as long as theres a way to control the size through the forums

After we discussed about it I've think about and I voted Yes.
Could be a nice addition and should be no problem to enable it in the code.
