I respect Dawkins and what he has done for biology. I have read The Selfish Gene and The Ancestor's Tale. He is one of the greatest biologists of our time.

That said, he kind of comes across as an elitist. No doubt he has done a lot for atheism, but he also has kind of given atheists a douchey label. I think sometimes he is a little too obnoxious about his non-belief.

To complete the compliment sandwich, I do appreciate what he has done for biology and evolution, though. He is a brilliant scientist. Here is him helping debunk intelligent design:

He's brought it more in the public light. He's helped make it a discussion.

There are a lot of incorrect notions about atheists. Many people cite them as "untrustworthy" despite them going to prison way less than Christians and most other religious groups.

People don't develop their views of certain people by looking at statistics. Generally, atheists are untrustworthy. It's an anecdotal thing that almost everyone can agree on.

Well, you can either waste time making proclamations and insulting people, or you could waste time showing PaRD you are able to string a few intelligent thoughts together. So far you've never been interested in the latter.

Why don't you elaborate on your initial accusation about fallacies, rather than cry about being called out by duffman?
