I thought every young man was imbued with the Rogue's Code of Honor and Ethics. Never steal more than one can afford, etc.

..when you deliberately lie and gossip in order to malign someone you steal their good name and reputation . You can always return property or make restitution but you can never undo gossip and intentional , malicious slander . This is why liars and gossips are considered some of the scummiest people on the planet .

accurate description of yourself, you ready for full introspection imo

What good name and reputation?

Even without all the paedophile stuff people would still think you're a dick for your condescension, derision, bigotry and inability to admit when you're wrong about something.

You didn't have a good name and reputation to steal.

Also - personally I think rapists, indiscriminate killers, people who keep slaves, sex traffickers etc... all rank much higher than a gossip in terms of scumminess. Your priorities are pretty fucked mate.

I always looked at it like 'don't steal what you can afford'. Always made more sense to me.

I've stolen a lot in my life, but always from large businesses. I would never steal from a person or small business. Also haven't done it in years because the consequences of being caught are a lot greater once you're of age.

Yea... we know. But it isn't to cover the cost of that individual theft and if she didn't do it then someone else would. 1 person choosing not to lift really makes no difference. Also one person shoplifting isn't enough to increase prices even a penny.

Just as you believe you hold no responsibility for the state of your nation's healthcare even though you could actively vote for free healthcare.
