read everything in the LS pages and it doesn't say anything anywhere about actually playing the game and killing monsters
i enter catacombs and keep getting killed by monsters, i keep clicking them like crazy and i'm doing 0 damage, i killed 1 monster for 30 minutes

Weapon needs EE (Enhanced Effect)

Armor needs EE , and a modifier to affect weapon dmg (Dex or Str, depending on weapon type)

Charm needs a modifier to affect weapon dmg (Dex or Str, depending on weapon type)

You will be able to go to town faster if you disable the Auto Hold Attack function

To do this, press Esc and check the appropriate white square

figured out you need to equip items first in the inventory by pushing I, this wasnt written anywhere

Im pretty new myself, tried this for some mins like some years ago but gave it another chance a couple of days ago and was lucky to find some friendly people in the game.

For now, I would look to buy a lv 20-25 wep (sword, axe, club) with about 30-60ee (enhanced effect) pending on how much fg you want to spend. (100ee is ideal)

For your armor you can go Strength or EE, look for chain mail/platemail
Charm just needs strength, but nice adds like life, critical strike and magic luck are nice!
