I prefer see few marines get killed under Obama than thousands of dead civils dying in 9/11 under Bush reign, military taking the shots instead of civils is actually a proof that they doing there jobs. Nobody is forced to join the army and should be aware that they risk there life.

This being said i understand that the animator is very angry and emotionally implied since her family and entourage is mainly military.
