The biggest existential threat we have right now is Russia, and fat chance they would get much done either.

China and North Korea are existential threats sorta but the chances of them causing me harm are about nil- zero.

I think China will be happy if we don't push matters in the .S.China sea they need if nothing else to keep pretty strong at home, as noises of dissidents are in the North and whispers of democracy linger around Hon kong and they still want to keep that on the island. North Korea may pose a threat to our allies but not to N. America.

I agree with Thor that Putin could be a wild card, but he could also spread out pretty thin if he needs to handle the ISL problems in Croatia and finish up Ukraine.
