Was thinking that you can choose to subscribe to certain forums such as the Runescape forum or General Help, and that the d2jsp instant messenger will warn you when a new thread is made within that forum.

Although this would personally be useful for me, I don't feel it's something that should be implemented without the option to enable it from disabled default.

But more importantly I don't feel it's needed or would be used enough, to incorporate. That being said, I vote no.

It could be possibly useful for some people but in my case I have sound enabled for everything and it would be a bit boring to be spammed every time that a person make a topic. Even if you have the possibility to disabled it I don't really see the interest to have a notification. If you are already active in those forums and check often what is made here there is in my eyes no utility for it. Also I don't think that it would be used enough.
So I decided to vote no.

I voted Yes. It could be nice for many people.

However, I recognize that it could take a lot of work for a small improvement.
