I love when your rage for fairy tale Palestine comes to life.
There is no rage in my tone. I am a peace loving individual that wants a peaceful resolution.
If it makes you feel any better I also shift the yoke of the blame to the other regional players, namely Jordan and Egypt, who should have negotiated to aggressively assimilate the Palestinians into their nations and who both have more than adequate space.
The whole situation stinks. I'm not an Israel hater. I have several Israeli friends and have had the thought that if through the lottery of birth, if I were to be born somewhere else and I had a say, and it couldn't be the US, it would likely be Israel. I admire your nation and even your attitude. What I admire the most is the spirit in which the population assumed a national identity, with a good mix of individualism and collectivism.
The Gaza thing needs to be resolved though, and I don't see a single player doing any of the right things. And somebody is going to have to start doing the right thing for anyone else to follow suit.
