Doing nothing? He'll make MILLIONS from playing and endorsements if he pans out like Crosby
Crosby makes probably like 15-20 million a year.
Wouldnt call that 'doing nothing'

He most certainly makes more than that

Bruins gotta make the playoffs first bud

I couldn't care less about the Bruins I'm referring to the incident. Crosby and malkin got shut down for an entire series (while the pens were stacked).

Maybe he will be getting paid like he's Sidney Crosby pre-2013, but he's already on the down ward slope. Gretzky did the same, he couldn't compete at the same level as he did while in edmonton for his entire career so though he was an incredible player he just wasn't that guy who won cups.

I'd say if anything it just proves how hard it is to win a cup and how one player cant carry an entire team (like in Basketball for example).

Gretzky cant really shoulder any of the blame for the Kings short comings in the late 80s/early 90s. He was still putting up insane amounts of points, the difference was the team just didnt have the same skill/chemistry/leadership/whatever that the Oilers team did.

crosbys not on a downward slope
hes just not producing as much because hes no longer playing a flyers team with an ahl goalie 10 times a season
both him n malkin were prob like 3+ points per game vs flyers but since we got mason and couts they are prob a ppg if that

How in the fuck did you manage to turn a "Crosby isn't producing as well" into a flyers topic? You realize he only played Philly 6 times a year out of 82 games right.
