upcoming patch is replacing Fiery Brimstones with Forgotten Souls

why is this interesting?:
- Forgotten Soul is account bound and cannot be traded
- Fiery Brimstone however is not account bound and is free to trade

basically, until patch 2.3 goes live, you can essentially trade for future Forgotten Souls
this is a fairly small window of opportunity, this trade is only possible until blizzard goes live with patch 2.3
so this is the last and only chance to actually trade for Forgotten Souls

and you're gonna need a lot of these for Kanai's Cube recipes
for example:
Reforge Legendary (10% chance to roll as ancient) = 50 Forgotten Souls,
Convert Set Item = 10 Forgotten Souls

because hardcore supply is much more limited than that of softcore, its reflected in both stack size and price:
1 000 Fiery Brimstones/Forgotten Souls = 600 fg (0.6 fg per piece)
2 000 Fiery Brimstones/Forgotten Souls = 1 200 fg (0.6 fg per piece)
5 000 Fiery Brimstones/Forgotten Souls = 3 000 fg (0.6 fg per stack)
10 000 Fiery Brimstones/Forgotten Souls = 4 500 fg (0.45 fg per stack)

in stock: 36 000 pieces remaining

edit:
as it is with blizzard, they could change this when patch goes live on realms
and decide to destroy old mats instead of upgrading them (like it works currently on ptr)
if that happens i will honor a full refund of your fg

while it states "Low level crafting materials have been removed from the game"
what this really means is that "Low level crafting material" drops/tiers have been removed from the game
and all low level materials are upgraded to their L70 equivalents

no they are free to trade and not account bound, its tested and i've sold and traded many over the last few days.

its forgotten souls that are account bound, brimstones are not,
and since they will be upgraded to forgotten souls in patch 2.3 you can buy and trade "future forgotten souls"
in the form of "fiery brimstones"

You gotta play non season though, pretty sure S4 will be coming with that patch

season 4 brings new chars and items erased.

conclusion: buying brimstones/souls now = useless. sorry BROSKI

erm, obviously this is not for "season" (where everyone starts a brand new temp char from zero - everything you have on non season chars is useless)

but people play non season way more, to perfect their chars and equipment
and there it is not useless because you can for example reroll very rare legendaries with crappy stats
into perfect ancients using cube and forgotten souls

+this is non season trading forum so what was your point again?
