I just traded two stacks with him. Now all that's left is to hope that Blizz actually converts these to souls when patch is released. As mentioned in his post, he promised to refund my fg if they don't, so it feels like less of a gamble.

Now if only there were some trade-able material that converted to Death's Breath, that would be a hot item to buy.

Demonic Essences convert to Death's Breath, but those were always account bound
though i've still got about 100k on my main hc account, i was quite pleased to find my stash full of Death's Breaths
(some even older mats were converted to demonic essences a long time ago,
i think it was tomes so this conversion is not unheard of and precedence has been already set by Blizzard)
