Fallout 4 - Co-op? - Topic

Please please please no

I think this game would suffer from coop much the same as a traditional elder scrolls game would. elder scrolls online is not a traditional nor was it meant to be.

it does not fit the story of someone escaping the vault either as the lone survivor or as a lone escapee. Yes the addition of a home base kind of feels like it would lend to coop but I wouldn't like to see that incorporated into coop.

These games are meant to make you feel special and powerful. You're making a difference in the game world for better or worse depending on how you play. Adding someone else into the mix takes away the decision making abilities from the individual and gives them to a group. While admittedly it would be fun similar to what gta v did I don't play open world sandbox games to play with anyone else. Running around with a party of maxed out vault warriors armed with miniguns and power armor rolling over enemies who are never tiered bosses sounds like an incredibly boring game to me

I enjoy eso more than i did skyrim (which i love)
Just so much more fun to play with friends ..
Changes are not always a bad thing. It depends on how you do it

Eso was made full on to be coop. I tried to convey that but in my tiredness this morning I failed even rereading that part. For what it's doing and the amount of content and story it's doing it well. But the standalone games do not lend themselves to the same end.

Understand I'm talking from strictly a story standpoint and how the game flows. If fallout did something similar to eso and made a fallout online sure it'd be fun but it wouldn't be fallout and you couldn't have vats or possibly even fast travel but I don't really know how that was handled in eso
