Are you asking if its a widespread issue then the answer is no.
The console is just a computer so catastrophic failure is still possible but by no means as prevalent as the bad old days.

As of now the Xbox1 is great compared to the 360 launch failure with the RROD.
I haven't heard anything bad about the XB1 as of yet, but again like ROM said it's a computer, it's just a matter of time before Xb1 and PS4 fail.

I have talked to an XB1 customer support person and they said if anything on it hardware wise does fail it will signify a red flash where the power button is.

Same. Sold it at 5 years after Wave 6 discs because I didn't want to flash it again.
