aren't they trying to get rid of ssj2 no-one seems to use it anymore, might be some lightning at some point but i can't remember it and i'm sure it's just one of the different ways they can power up super, they never mention it by name at least

i get the feeling they want it to be super saiyan->god but ssj3 pops up now and again coz fans can't forgot the awesome hair :)

Poor vegeta never reached ssj3 hopefully he can as blue :D

Can't wait to get started on this, I've seen the DBZ series but still need to watch Battle of Gods and Resurrection of F first

why does beerus complain about the rules, all vs all last standing, isn't this like the best possible thing for them with one fighter who's much stronger than the others? how the hell would they win if it was like individual fights most wins

although they don't really explain the average power level thing, if it's like all life (sentient?) then shouldn't matter much for the top fighters. but it feels like they only rank the top people or whatever as they seem to be using it to judge standing in the tournament. I guess if everyone in the universe stronger it should lead to more powerful fighters but when you look at the people who actually make a difference (goku) it's such extraordinary circumstances that it would be hard to predict. Like you might have more strong people but can't say how strong they are as it gets less tied to the average power level of everyone else as they progress

I believe it was "average mortal level". Meaning that the mortals are superior in most probably, every way. Intelligence, physicality, etc.... Universe 7 has had gods that have taken a backseat and other than incredibly extraordinary individuals like Goku and company, they haven't been involved with helping them at all. The other universes seem a bit different. It appears as though the gods in other places take more of an active approach in trying to enrich the lives (or possibly create hardships making stronger mortals). It's all irrelevant though. It's average, and assuming the scale is to 10, it's quite possible that Goku and the top 4-5 fighters for Universe 7 could all be 10s. Who knows how it all works, but that's the best educated guess that I can put together.

morons missed a chance to portray yamcha as a great character and make a memorable scene which are far in between nowadays, instead just a cheap cheap useless trashing again

They blew that chance long ago to make yamcha great. But i can see how he and krillin stopped fighting. Main reason was to beat goku at worlds but no way thats gonna happen. Theres no way they can keep up with the saiyans piccolo buu etc now.
