Why the hell would you waste your time of 3-4 months playing BW then switching to a new game which different mechanics and metas.

this is a dumb suggestion. I played both at a professional level and playing BW makes it harder to transition.
Having a clean slate at SC2 will get you a better chance at going pro. (Mechanically, positioning, and just the meta/game is played.)
If you're not going to take my word for it, I also have personal connections with SC/SC2 pros in Korea and they have the same consensus.
OP don't listen to people who don't play at a professional level.
