Introduction:This guide is for making a FoH paladin, wich use the skill Fist of the Heavens as main attack, and conviction as main aura. This build is mainly for pvping. But with the convi aura you can be helpfull in pvm aswell (for sorceress). Thanks for Jey aka Freex for some help about the build etc.
Vocabulary :FOH = Fist of The Heavens

Well let’s get started!
1.1 What to reach/breakpoints:General:
1.5k+ life
2.5-3k Foh dmg
75/75/75 resist at hell
10-20 reph life (20 is max what is allowed)

High level conviction (29+) (Because the higher lvl convi makes the lower lvl one useless (when both convi aura's active at the same time))
295 light resist (under enemies convi still 95 light resist)
1.2 StatsStr: Enough for wearing equip (100 for silks, 58 if else)

Energy: NONE!
2. Gear:Rare Weapon:- A Rare scepter, your only choice. 2 pala skill, 1-3 Holy shock/1-3 holy shiled (gl with that)/1 vigor/holy freeze/charge (saving skill pts), strenght and resist are good to have. Life and ias are good adds
- A rare morning star/another mace weapon: 2 pala skill, high strenght and resist needed, life is a good add
I'd recommend to use a scepter, because the skills you can get on it.
Helm:- Tarnskull: 1 skill.
Sock: Perf Skull/Perf Ruby (What you miss the most)
- Rare Grim helm with: High ed, high life and nice resist (sock Perf Ruby)
But the +1 skill is a lot better then some life and res (can be easily get somewhere else)
Armor:- Rare Exceptional armor (Ghost armor/mage plate/serpentskin or Demonhide) with 20+ lr/cr, 50+ life (unsocked), x reph life
Good adds: +strenght and high ed
Sock: Perfect Ruby or PErfect Skull (what you need most)
- Silks of Victor: Unique Ancient armor. This armor is a good choice aswell, it gives you +1 all skill and got decent defense. You wont get less life tho. Sock: Perf Skull or Perf Ruby (What you miss the most)
Rings:- 2x Soj
- 1x soj + 1x Rare ring with: life, strenght, reph life and res
Rare Amulet:2 pala skill, 10-20 strenght, 40+ life and prism
Best adds: Stack light/cold resist, reph life
Shield:Rare Grim shield or Barbed Shield: 2 pala, high ed, 17-20 prism, x reph life
Best add: Strenght, stack resist
Sock: Perf Diamond
Rare Gloves:9 strenght, reph life, 2x cr/lr
Best adds: fr
Bloodfists (vs Necromancers)
Rare Boots:30 frw, reph life and triple resist
Best add: hfd, dex, fhr

Since charge with conviction isnt allowed because the d2c rules, use holy shock when charging (holy shock grands you decent dmg to your charge too!)

20 Holy shock (adds dmg to foh) (also nice for charge in tvt)

4. Duel Strategies: (with d2c rules or pub)Versus:
50/50 = 50% chance for both
60/40 = 60% chance for foh, 40% for other
etc
Bowazon: 85/15 Easy, u get max block, she got kinda low resist. Charge+holy shock, switch to foh and try to hit. and then charge away with holy shock (foh + conv can 1 shot amazons)
Barbarian: 55/45 medium, Try not to get close for convi radius. Use holy shock with foh instead (Range), only try convi with foh if 100% save
Bone Necromancer: 40/60 Hard, try not to get close to him,Use holy shock + Foh (same as with barb). Only use convi+foh (u must get close to him for that) if necro has crap light res. Use bloodfists against them. Extra life and fhr wouldnt hurt.
Non energy shield Sorc: 55/45 Easy (if pub), hard, if tvt, in pub u can stack resist, and sorceress usually dont have much light resist. in tvt its a different story, especially staff sorceress. You cant stack resist that much as in pubs (rules)
Energy Shield Sorc: 50/50 Same as non es sorceress
Hammerdin: 50/50 Medium/hard, Dodge the Hammered path, u can always get a hdin under conviction. but u should take care ofcourse (desynch). Use holy shock with foh for for range. ~2 hammers kills u.
Foh: 50/50 Medium. They have high light resist (but you got that too). Use light resist aura instead holy shock when charging. when u feel safe, hit him with foh (with conv ofc) (pub)
Javazon (pub): 95/5 Very easy, her low light res and ur high light resist should make this easy.
Even with tmc etc.
Charger/Smiter: 60/40 Easy/Medium, you shouldnt get much troubles vs them. You have max block and decent defense. They have decent resist and dmg. Dont come close to them. Use holy shock while charging
