I need help figuring out why my laptop is overheating and crashing when I play the game Marvel Heroes.

I tried downloading MSI, Coolfan, and HP Coolsense was already on my computer NONE of which are any of them able to show the options for adjusting fan speed performance or anything that can help figure it out.

I'll be honest, my patience is gone at this point, so if anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.

Tell me what info you need and how I can get it to you.

Thanks.

If it's new (which I can't seem to find it anywhere ....NEW...) just return it and get a new one or RMA it.

It's not new new. I can't return it, can you offer any fixes? Or, atleast can someone help me troubleshoot?

So, there are no other options for maxing out my fan speeds, after these 3 had failed me? Anyone? Please.

If u already have them maxed in bios then prob not. You can find replacement fans along with putting new thermal paste on both the CPU and gpu. You can dust it out and get a cooling pad but that will only do so much

The BIOS will only let me enable or disable 'Fan Always On'. There are literally no other options for my fans in my BIOS. Please help!

3rd gen and launch 4th gen i7's get super hot.

If you havent done it already I would take the machine apart and clean out any and all dust. If possible replace the thermal paste with something a bit higher end than the OEM stuff. I used to use Antec formula 7 but everyone has their own preference. you may also need to replace the little thermal "pads" that are around the fan , with either thermal compound or replacement pads.

If this still doesnt work I would replace the entire fan assembly which includes a new heatsink and fan.
