max q or e first

wat builds have u guys been trying?

q first, e seems sluggish early game. I can't seem to use E properly without slowing them with q first. maybe its cuz i only played against like ahri, leblanc, and azir.

but I've been rushing zhonyas, for the trick ult plays. then ludens echo, because its like... made for him...
sometimes vise-versa
lichbane is a VERY good item on him, procs with his E anyways.
top it off with void or rabadons

is there ever time where u get morello or athene?

Kinda easy to dodge their stuff as Ekko. Unless you're up against some real point and click shit I wouldn't. Morello, Zhonyas, Lich. Are all good for first item.

makes the extra cooldown benefits from ranking it be less then it is
