I really need to see this movie again with this question in mind. Is everything in this movie a symbol for something else? My memory sucks but I feel like it's packed full of symbolism. Can anyone here add anything?

Who broke the world? Well if this is a feminist movie it's pointing the finger at men.

The bad guys are being corrupted by drinking the blood of the pure. The rich gain power from devouring the poor?

The women are looking for a place to plant the bag of seeds throughout the movie. They eventually figure out they just had to fix what they already had. This means something, not sure.

The antagonist is chasing the most desirable mates throughout the movie. Maybe just an emphasis on how magical women's ability to produce life is. Maybe something more. It seems to be a recurring theme that the ability to produce life is the most valuable thing on the planet.
