ive been doing php since i was in college (about 5 yrs ago)
i learned a little java (its kinda convoluted, but still better than php)
i recently started learning Ruby (pure ruby not RoR yet) and i have to say the little bit ive done with it so far already makes me question why php is even a thought. ruby is much more elegant and clean.
i did some node.js too, i kinda dont car for a javascript based backend, i always hated javascript and the 18978172361983 call backs that you have to write to make shit work properly
