Agreed. I have a Ps4 and an Xbox One. I've been an Xbox fanatic since the original (mainly because of Halo). Loved that system, always defended it, defended it like hell during these last console wars. What do we get? More consumers fighting and two shit products lol. The Ps4 has it's issues, it at least fucking works for parties though. Not to mention the occasional just menu lag you get on the One. Nothing about it works well, parties are a joke, the games are mostly bad, and every single FPS (both console unfortunately) has more lag, hit detection, and just all around bullshit issues than either of their predecessors. I honestly might just switch back to full PC gaming, I haven't wanted to upgrade in a long time but I'm finally starting to realize that the consoles are going to continue getting worse and worse, while PC will ultimately stay the same.
I've never understood how people have all these party issues. I play halo and other games constantly with friends and we are always in parties. I think a lot of these issues are related to your Internet, because I haven't had these issues. I don't give a fuck about defending a console, I play on PC mostly. I just don't get it.
