I don't want to kill him. I just don't care if he dies and would find it slightly amusing if the manner of his death was being shot in self defense.

I understand why the jury found him not guilty, it's the law that's faulty, not the jury system


Any law that would allow you to chase someone, instigate an altercation and then claim self defence is faulty.

Confronting someone with words is not instigating an altercation. Your entire pretense is bullshit. Why not just be honest about it and say you hate guns. At least you won't seem like as much of an idiot then.

If there was proof that he instigated the altercation he would have been found guilty....

He wasnt found guilty because there is no proof who jumped who, only who shot who.

The law isnt faulty, but the idea that people should be found guilty on heresay and speculation sure is.

Chasing someone down with a gun for the sole purpose of confronting them because you think they are a thief is instigating a confrontation ....
