Hi all,

here is a constructive attempt to bring some new people to the game.
It needs active help from many of us - as long as we exist here ... I think it is necessary if we dont want to extinct in a short time.

We should organize a regularly run, where 3-4 experienced players carry 1-2 new players, explaining the game and leaving drops, maybe already owned items to them if they seem to be worth it at a jour-fixe weekly.


The jour-fixe should be every thursday evening at 18:30 of these local time points.
Because we live in different time zones, a US and a European point of time is the choice.

Every player willing to join should just hang around scanning the players online and be active to organize the runs, if enough pros and ofc at least 1 newb shows up. if you can find someone to join as a newb, bring him/her !
Clans could write this to theire webpages, joining players or at least supporters of this could carry a message in the personal profile and underneath the message as a fix text.
Something short, invitating and giving the necessary facts.

Ideas how to make this better are welcome, if we could make it start a regularly event, the jour-fixe gets better known and will draw new players to our game, open new markets, teach that helping and sharing is fun.

If you accord to this :

Be there next thursday and wait at least from 18:30 until 19:00 of your local time - and resist a full run of experienced players.
Write into your profile etc. about this.
Be willing to run 4 hours for 1 GP and select what you can give away.
Show that you are a person of deed, not talk.

Well even for those with fg to start off with, can find no ok gear to use on mp... easy to be discouraged.. selling more ok gear for 19-100fg would help.. maybe we can get a respite on market fee's for 100 or less...Would change the game some for a plus on new comers ...as we more willing to try sell gear

i would like to start too... i can sell something for fg (i would like a decent start equip).

Stupid question: How much fg for full (decent, not pro) equip?

first 15 lvls 1fg weapons would work... for every 5 lvls.. after that you need more.. With no fg you can do self found items but would take long time.. that first 1fg weapon helps

Try on swords you can play them on the first 3 chars

I did solo to about 45 I think, only spending about 60fg. Then joined a party and used same gear to level 71 as it took only about 20mins I think to get from 45 to 71 with them.

Party play is definitely the way to go. I do think that more gear needs to be sold at 1-5fg though 'cos some of the gear I was paying 20fg for was not impressive it was just lack of supply.

If you're already depressed, i'd definetly recommend you to stay away from LS.
