Serious point here. We wont get new players to this game with the need for extraordinary gear to play it if it doesnt drop at all.
Even mediocre drops dont happen, and they wont be enough to solo or even group now.
We see the evaluation this week from the "scandal sheet". It is getting worse, the ones playing are almost everytime the same - and thats a shrinking player base already playing less and less.
I think this change in the balance needs something additional to attract new players to get the feeling of success and fun. imagine starting now ... its just frustrating after reaching level 30+ I guess.
Even the "challenge" for the players with good gear already is none to me. Not only because of the danger to lose all in HC.
The game is even more time-consuming than before, you lose prof in the worst case and the feeling of working instead of gaming rises to an imbearable amount.
When the last fish is caught ... you know it all.
