I downloaded PoE from the official site and everything went fine.

Now I go to open it and I get 2 or 3 error messages and then a black screen with the POE mouse to play around with.

Any fix to this?

Post this in the poe forums. I play but not sure about you issue. Good luck and you'll love it if you love diablo 2

is there anyway you could post the specs of your computer?
What video card, cpu and ram?

Run as admin usually works for a lot of people getting that error

how do i set it as admin

right click
run as administrator

Just remember you'll have to do this every time you run the game unless you:
Right click the PoE icon --> Properties --> compatibility --> check "Run as Administrator"
