No, I'm just confused as to how a young woman is on a beach, fucked up to the point of blacking out, and she doesn't have anyone she knows around her. Maybe her friends were getting railed in a hotel room or something.
Well, it's ridiculous that this happened with so many people around, but it's very odd she had no friends around.
sometimes the whole story never really comes out.but the crowd watching a rape occur is what just hits me. What the hell has happened to decency and just the barest concern people have for one another? this story is just another in the pile of shit stories about people standing around with their phones out taping the bad things that happen to people than helping the people that the bad things are happening to?
What switch has been flipped inside the human psyche that says "It's not my responsibility to lend a hand to that guy or girl in trouble" whatever it is it disgusts me. People will stand grouped around a phone or PC and watch a horrific happening on a video of someone being beaten or raped and they'll groan and shriek, some even cry in empathy. Still all of the mutherfuckers who stand there silently, steadily hands outstretched film without emotion as the scene unfolds right in front of them unheeded
without as much as a "Hey stop" or a "I'm calling the cops" because they were actually calling 911 instead of filming? What has happened to us?
