Boom bots are a straight up magnet to my MCT.
Doesn't matter. Running both mct and bgh is best in this meta. Turn 7 they drop boom you mct if it doesn't grab boom then bgh. At least you have 2 answers. BGH alone is not enough to deal with the massive tempo swing Dr.Boom provides. He is honestly the most OP card in the game right now.
Basic tempo deck outline =
1x Zombie Chow (anti hunter/aggro start)
1x MCT
1x BGH
2x Piloted Shredder ( Incredibly sticky minion, solid as fuck)
1x Healbot (unless better class heal available or in addition to them. Examples = Paladin - Lay on Hands, Mage - Illuminator)
2 x Sludge Belcher
1x Loatheb
1x Dr. Boom
and 1x Silence (Ironbeak Owl or Spellbreaker)
Other than that your class specific cards = some board clear, some weapons or single target spells, some card draw and the best value minions you have.
Depending on what you come up against most you may want to consider tech cards like Kezan Mystic, TBK, Harrison Jones etc. Imo Harrison Jones and Kezan Mystic are almost mandatory in the current meta.
Note on Ragnaros and Kel Thuzad - Ragnaros can have instant board impact and is preferred by a lot of players, sometimes KT can be a better choice however - especially in decks that focus heavily on board control. I tend to prefer Rag because he can be played to an empty board. Both are viable but I wouldn't run both in the same deck.
Note on Thaurissan - Amazing in Druid and handlock but not as impressive as many thought he was going to be. He is only good in ramp decks that can drop him early and decks that continuously have a large hand.
So for OP's question - Dr. Boom. Always. He is broken.
