Japanese people conisder the simpsons as anime

Anime short for animation

If they think our cartoon is 'anime', why cant we do the same

They are yellow, so if anything its like watching reality t.v. for japan.

Don't forget that some languages don't have words for certain things.
And to compensate for them, they may use a word that pre-exist or make a new one.
