Lenovo G780
Laptop works fine when HDMI into my external monitor

Screen was working fine until I replaced the hard drive, so I assume a wire may have been disconnected but I don't think I can access the monitor power wire from where I replace the hard drive.

Is there a way for me to see if the monitor screen is broken but turned on or just unplugged (powerless screen)?
Insert Software Here:

I assume I can detect the screen under Monitors in Computer Management, let me try that real quick.

Thanks

It shows up in device manager so its plugged into the mobo but does it have power?

Press Windows Key + P until you've select Duplicate.

Or

Go into Screen Resolution, Mulitple Displays, Select only display on Monitor 1 or Monitor 2, or Duplicate.
