dont use the int robe on your lvl 27 char.. better use the 15dex scale from your mule.
also put the dex charm from the 2nd slot to your first slot (all stats except ee dont count on the 2nd slot)
you want to have dex if you play with staves/daggers (also ok for axes)

good tips, also seek an enhanced effect leather or scale if you can find one for higher levels, might want to stat a bit more vita as well
you could also move that level 10 heal you had been wearing (or buy a higher level one) and put it in your accessory slot.
since only ee works (at 75% effectiveness) in your acc. slot you can still make use of it and heal yourself and get use out of the mana on rogue.

don't let your life get his low and i would just level a barb at this point , cause the less vita and more intel from a rogue is of no use to a beginner( healing with bad heals is a waste of time) the more life the better for you

all you need in this game to melee is a axe set and a dagger set, get those as cheaply as possible. also get life armor and charms for low levels 1-15 or 20. get enhanced effect armor and dex charms for higher levels

don't EVER go below 50% hp. its much better to play safe then sorry. maybe try fishing while your in town life regening. will help you survive a bit longer in the catacombs.
