GS is absolutely horrible in PvP.

Why complain about runners when you are GS warrior? They are pretty good at running too with the whirl plus charges plus all the stability and swiftness....

get a theif sneak up to them, or use snares etc

They usually run in two situations - upscales they know they get beat down easy, or maybe they are running scouting builds designed not to fight but to move quickly and alert the zerg to come an defend bay for example if they see an enemy zerg they are not after 1v1

go pvp if you want to pvp or get a better class for roaming imo

What did you expect, people to stand still?

I have. Currently leveling up a Hunter and Thief. I just wish that metabattle had more builds though lol

That was one of the worst sites I've ever seen...

To be honest, the current state of GW2 is so dumbed down that it really doesn't require builds to know what is viable/meta.
That's one of the reasons the site isn't really well maintained... people who need it can't update it, people who've been playing can figure it out themselves.
