I am an old hardcore MMOrpger, starting out with Ultima online and then Everquest and every various afterwards. You name it I have played it. Would Eve even touch my interest and why?

I played a bit, but is just too time consuming. Like, you have to wait 10 minutes to go from a star system to another. You have to wait 1 minute to harvest an asteroid. And then, to get to a space station to cash the asteroid's metals, it takes 3 minutes to dock. And to learn a skill takes 5 minutes in the beginning, then after you played 1 year it takes 1month to learn a new skill.

When compared to diablo2 where you quickly tele or waypoint, eve is such a waste

Half of what you said is incorrect.
It generally takes about a minute to pass through a system.
Harvesting an asteroid will continue until your ore bay is full, this trickles in, it's not just like mining a node in another MMO (mining is one of the most boring things to do in eve, why would you even consider it anyway?)
It takes about all of 5 seconds to dock after you land at the station.
The skill training is unique to Eve Online and should not be compared with that of any other game, you are rewarded for specialisation. You do not gain "xp" in eve, you get a constant, steady stream of skill points no matter what you are doing, the only thing that requires and kind of grinding is making money.

This trailer is almost 200% inaccurate, although visually appealing.... Most of those instances are rare in occurrence.

EvE Online is a highly complex MMO that takes years to even scratch the surface of a general "Mastery" of the game.

That being said, a three week old character can and will destroy a 10 year vet with the right knowledge and patience/skill. Just because you're new doesn't mean you're out of the loop by any means.

The bigger ships (Capitals IE: Carriers, Dreads, Titans etc) are not always the best solution and if used incorrectly will kill you. There are many stories of some guy in a Titan exploding to a fleet of new players because he tried to jump it though a gate.

I highly reccomend trying EVE Online if you're serious about getting into it. It's by far the highly rewarding MMO I've ever played.

Some basic things EVE Has that other MMOs Don't.

When you lose a ship, It's gone. Forever. You must buy/build a new one.
You can buy PLEX in-game with ISK (EVE's Currency) and a PLEX gives you 1 month of game time. So If you're smart and know how to make a lot of ISK, you can play EVE for free. I highly recommend not doing that for your first couple months, ISK would rather be used to buy ships/have fun etc. Worry about buying PLEX later on.
You can legally buy pilots on the EVE Forums with ISK. This means if you want to buy a character that can already fly a Dreadnaught or Carrier, You can. Legally. The flip side of this is that you can sell your characters as well, I recently sold one of mine for 15 Billion ISK, which helped me out a lot.
There is no "Level Grind". Everything is done in a real-time training format. You train a skill and it will give you a time when it ends, this continues when you're logged off. So if you ever take a break from EVE, it is better to keep your account sub'd and continue your skill que so when you return, you have a much better pilot.

Right, Groups of skilled players can own vets, the game is complex, visually apealing, Using ships incorrectly will kill you, and trade is a real thing. so im reading eve is exactly like the trailer video....

Don't do it! Not worth it...at least this late in the game unless you have friends who reside within large corporations or alliances that can help and train you.
