You're probably remembering it incorrectly. Also, Widow is in his late 50s, early 60s. Probably younger than your dad.

... and if my Dad was taking a girl 8 yrs younger than me on dinner dates to Maccy D's I'd find that creepy. You can bet I'd give him more shit about it than I give Widow too.

You're right. My father is a better man than any I've met on this forum and probably in real life too. Widow couldn't hope to measure up to him...

yeah I just wondered, I know he was helping vets with ptsd so there was some warmth in him and he did say that they are trained to not think of the enemy as humans, that would probably be a

valuable tool in staying sane.


I had a buddy that was a door gunner in Nam he said that they would drop recon and sniper teams off and that both of them the sniper and spotters and the recon guys were very still and quiet.

Fred my buddy as a mountain of a guy and didn't know a stranger but he didn't even try talking to them.
