Hi everyone and welcome to my seventh Walkthrough Char.
This wt will be following the rules of Textbook's 2015 Walkthrough Holy Grail Challenge.
He inspired me to start this wt

I have played Diablo 2 for 14 years and I have to admit that I have never made a lvl 99 char But this will be changed soon

MATHAYUS "THE SCORPION KING" IN SEARCH OF THE HOLY GRAIL

Mathayus and his two brothers, boys living in the kingdom of Akkad, seek to undergo training with an elite band of warriors called the Black Scorpions. His father, Ashur, warns them about this, but they goes anyway. At the Black Scorpion Academy they become mercenaries, training extensively in the deadly arts and only applying service to those whom he and his brothers personally favoured, though upon the death of his brothers, Mathayus has gone on to end the reign of Memnon, a murderous warlord who sought to conquer all around him, and has gone on to become a warlord himself known as the Scorpion King. Upon Memnon's death, Mathayus has ascended power by assuming the role of a king, becoming a formidable ruler.

His wife the Queen Cassandra is noted for her beauty and her great lover of snakes....

Recently, in an unguarded moment she has been bitten by a rare viper whose venom causes a very slow death

Healers from all the neighboring kingdoms have tried to cure the Queen but unfortunately no one has succeeded.

Mathayus had already lost all hope when an old christian healer named "Textbook" coming from the Diablo2 Kingdom, told him about the sacred and mysterious powers of the "Holy Grail", the cup of the Last Supper and at the Crucifixion to have received blood flowing from Christ's side. He thinks that the magic chalice is somewhere in the Lands of Diablo2 and has the power to cure any disease.
After a few days of reflection Mathayus decided to travel to the Rogue Encampment to start the quest of the Holy Grail.

Mathayus will not be alone in his quest for the Holy Grail, he will have the invaluable help of Azrael (act 2 nightmare offensive merc / in normal mode he will be defensive)

THE BUILD

Mathayus wil be a Frenzy Barbarian. He will use only swords

STATES:

Mathayus can't reset skills and states.

Str: just enough to use the equipment;
Dex: just enough to use the equipment;
Vitality: all the rest into vitality;
Mana: nothing.

SKILLS:

Combat sks: Total points 28

- Leap: 1;
- Leap attack: 1;
- Bush: 1 ;
- Stun: 1;
- Concentrate: 1;
- Berserk: 1;
- Double swing:1
- Double throw: 1;
- Frenzy: 20.

Warcries sks: Total points 58

- Howl: 1;
- Shout: 20 points;
- Battleorders: 20 points;
- Battle command: 1 point;
- Taunt: 16.

Combat Masteries: Total points 24

- Sword Mastery: 20;
- Increased stamina: 1;
- Increased Speed: 1:
- Iron Skin: 1;
- Natural resistence: 1;

RULES

- Hardcore style;
- Players 8 Always (except countess reruns);
- Rejuvenation potions are allowed;
- Save and Exit not allowed (I can save the game only in town), it would be too easy
- Mathayus can use only swords, others weapons are not allowed;
- No reset skills and states (old school);
- Reruns are allowed;
- Reroll map allowed;
- Runewords allowed;
- Normal Stash;
- All wps and all quests.

Special Restrictions Textbook's Holy Grail Challenge Of 2015:

- No shield;
- No health potions;

GOALS
- Enjoy this really nice game;
- Find every unique and set item in the game;
- Beat Hell Baal;
- Beat Diablo Clon (with /players 8 too);
- Beat Ubers Minions (with /players 8 too);
- Beat Ubers (with /players 8 too);
- Get hrs, good crafted items, good unique items and nice runewords
- Items goals: x2 grief pb / Death in eth cb / Gully / Forty / Enigma / metalgrid amulet / nice rare barb amulet / good crafted blood gloves and belt / raven ring / nice crafted ring / +5 rare bo helm.
- Dont die.
