What happens when we die? .

Same thing that happened before you were born. You didn't existent for for over 10 billion years, and after you die you'll do the same. What sense is there in worrying about something that's utterly inevitable.

Not entirely sure what you're getting at :o Also I wouldn't consider the universe particularly hostile. Definitely strange, in a good way.

The underlying nihilism of reality. It isn't anything until you bestow meaning into it. It is only good because you make it that way, which is a pretty awesome thing to do.

But what is 10 billion years? What was before those 10 billion years? Nothingness? What is nothing?

Nothing is the opposite of Being. It isn't that complicated.

Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by.

If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them.

If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.”

So if nothing were possible, than being would be impossible? Or am I thinking too much?

Matter is neither created nor destroyed. It is simply changing states. You are matter, and when you die you will change states. More then likely you raise up from this dense 3d awareness to a more broad and universal "higher" existence. Just like in life you experience and learn new things and gain new perspectives. In death will none the less be the same. Of course you have existed before this life and you will exist again after. It is not a matter of fact, but to me a matter of time. I spend my time on this planet trying to spread as much love as i can. I call out to beings of the highest order of existence to help guide me but to not restrict me from me being utterly and completely free. I was raised catholic, but now practice Vedanta(Hindu philosophy). How this journey began? I simply walked into a temple with the intent of someday reaching God, and to tell you the truth. I've never felt closer to that being in my whole life. Take chances my friend, and walk the path not taken and you will discover a beautiful world not filled with hate oppression and fear but one of love light and harmony.
