the main bad guy is more likely to be Garuo since that was the next big fight sequence in the web comic.
but he could end up like a Mid way series boss though since that's just a single arc.



unlikely since it's been kind of confirmed that it was Bofoy (aka the guy that controls Metal Knight and such)

but at this point in the anime and Manga, the guy behind Metal Knight (Bofoy) is probably the closest possibility.
and with that warning from that other hero (forgot his name) to Genos about Metal Knight, Plus the lack of care for anyone but himself and his experiments/testing.

Metal Knight is Bofoy's hero name, he is not the guy behind Metal Knight. That's like saying Saitama is the guy behind Caped Baldy.
Drive Knight gave Genos an ambiguous warning but that doesn't confirm anything.
Metal Knight and Drive Knight are both suspicious characters who the viewer knows little about.

well he controls him from the safety of home, so he technically is the guy behind that empty shell known as Metal Knight.

No the empty shell is not Metal Knight he is Metal Knight, he is controlling Battle Robots.
