Pretty sure W is doing his level best to stay out of the limelight. People still write articles about him, and he still does charity stuff. There's probably a difference between trying to back out of the public eye and the public eye trying to gloss him over. You two are ridiculous.

And I know he isn't representative of the GOP right now whatsoever. He was the first Republican president to speak at the NAACP Convention in forever, and even NCLB attempted to correct some of the major deficits in public education. I have tremendous respect for the guy...but I never pass up a chance to criticize the GOP
