All barb used sword in fact because of the range and extra socket. Just it needed to have 1 freesox for ETH rune for ITD bug.
But yes everyone was crafting cb cuz if u got evis suffix you could still shaelshaelEth it. More chances to get a valuable/useable sword.

Fury BB was competitive for that reason, the Ds made up for the lack of ed vs Low-Mid Cruels but it had the ias BP and Eth rune.

Any1 with a zod/eth ethereal ccboq would blow the shit out of those mentiomed though
