Hi I am AJ and I have a question about downloaded games and I couldn't find an answer online so I'm hoping you guys can help.

If I buy a digital game on my Xbox One and later delete the gamertag that downloaded it, can another gamertag play that game on the console or is it locked only to my gamertag?

Once downloaded to the Xbox Im pretty sure all other accounts on THAT Xbox can use it.

And thanks Gaby, I thought so too because I know you can on a 360 but I wasn't sure if the content licenses were different on a One.

Any gamer tag can play that game on that system except when you do a license transfer you need that original gt to place on other systems

So just an update, the reason I was wondering this is because I was looking for a One on C-list and was curious. Finally pulled the trigger last night. But it turns out it doesn't work as cleanly as this. The gamertag that downloaded the game must stay on the xbox and have the xbox be the "home console". When we removed the guys gamertag I couldn't open the games. So his account is left on it.

But boy did I just get a hell of a deal. For $240:

I don't have a ton of time to play, but I have played some CoD and enjoy it. I feel like it has a bad rep but I like the fact that the exosuits discourage camping, although I can tell it still happens.

I used to love battlefield, and I just saw the new one just came out. It seems it took a lot of emphasis off vehicles and made smaller maps, which I'm fine with to an extent, but it seems its less of an authentic battlefield than normal.
