You can do what I do then , not buying those items / runes from those user's , that's there way you won't support botting .
Why would you warn user's for selling 40 Ber's ? because they bot ?
It make no sense , besides there few people who don't bot and know where to find those places.

In the overall , if you have an issue with a post/topic , just report it .

agreed. I could do that. But again, this is just going around what this topic is about.
Im not talking about me, and how I can fight botting / duping. Im talking about jsp
having these rules in place and not enforcing them. Hence the title of this poll.

The game will die if it is reset back to its "pure" roots.

Not enough players are going to be dedicated enough to put the time into it.

That said; I wish it was different. I would love for D2 to be reborn. I would ditch all exploits and the like if there was a gigantic playerbase again. That would be amazing.

But yeah, realistically a 15 year old game is what it is. The community does the best with what it has. That's where D2 is at right now.

Voting no.

They aren't even enforcing the simpliest trading rules in the poe section.
At least not in the past 2-3 months.

you're probly right. but i see them close threads for piracy/3rd party program violations.
bottying is the same, bots are 3rd party progs... so jsp can either enforce theyre own
rules abou this or continue to look like.... whats the words... hipocrits? idk
I know this contraversial since its in theyre rules but not enforced whatsoever it seems.
Im not necesarily trying to make jsp or its staff look bad. I just cant understand why it
just isnt removed from the rules if its constantly over looked anyways.

I think bot's n duperz are part of the game as it is today... It has evolved once again n to say for d2jsp to start warning n closing topics about it would just make people to go elsewhere or just leave the game altogether.. this would loose money n it takes away from there profits (jsp).. It would be a bad business decision in my opinion.. but thats looking at it in the jsp light of things...

Only Blizzard can get rid of bots / dupe.

I see what you're saying, and I agree that D2 is saturated with bots and 3rd party programs, and it sucks. However, JSP cannot police what users do/don't do in game. We handle matters that happen in game that directly relate to the site such as trade scams. 3rd party programs and such as it is against Blizzard's Terms of Service, thus discussion of such programs are not allowed anywhere on the forums. But obviously we cannot control what one puts on his/her computer. The items that are found during runs are still legitimate items that are produced by the game, which is why the items are allowed to be sold. We also realize that people are going to dupe items. It is what it is. This is why we require users to state if their item is unperm in their topic content, in order to ensure trader's safety, and to try and eliminate any confusion about the item. Rules are adapted around the game in hopes of keeping things relevant, and to ensure the best experience for the trader.
