Its in the rules, the word unperm is not supposed to be use.
But I see it being used in threads. Usually "treat as unperm".

People bot, and sell mass botted items, and talk about botting.
They just use terms like "afkers" instead of bot.

When I think about it, I dont think I personally care too much.
D2 is such an old game, its gonna die out regardless. But I see
alot of users complain about this and how it effects the econony.
So Im curious what jsp actually thinks / feels about it.

/edit Should have put 4th option. "Remove these rules".

Stopping its discussion etc on jsp will not affect anything.

Now if there was to be a MASSIVE ban wave, rust storm, and crack down on bots, I would come back to d2.
But really the game is too old to give too many fucks about

I hear ya. Im just kinda like, whys it in the rules though to begin with.
And yeah im talking about massive, i mean, you can tell when someone
has duped bases or rune or jewels or mass botted 100 accounts of annis.
Or mass bots items and sells for 1fg each when should be 10x that.
So it wouldnt really be too hard to atleast push it way underground again
and let the economy rise some.
Dont think of me as a hipocrit pls. I do resell unid annis on D2 haha. Im just
really curious about the overall concensus here.

Being able to tell that someone is botting / duping and being able to prove it are two different things though. On jsp you need proof, or no action will ever be taken against a user.

maybe this poll should be about that then haha

the other day someone on east ladder posted. was really mad his fg got locked.
he showed s/s of convo with med. med refused to provide said proof and
just continuously insisted he admit to selling fg.
so ite seems they do what they want when they want anyways imo. i guess this is
just something that they dont want to do.
what good is it to say, we must have proof of this. But that proof is not shared.
No one really knows if theres proof or not.

It can't be enforced , you can't force user's not to bot .
If you see a topic title violation then report it , if you see a post with piracy report it also .
In the end , just report if you anything that break the rules .

agreed. But it can be made so its no so in your face obvious.

they're running mass bots. The sojs used to spawn the clone are
dupes. Or 8x of each perfect base runewords are dupe bases.

You can do what I do then , not buying those items / runes from those user's , that's there way you won't support botting .
Why would you warn user's for selling 40 Ber's ? because they bot ?
It make no sense , besides there few people who don't bot and know where to find those places.

In the overall , if you have an issue with a post/topic , just report it .
