So I like adventure type anime but my favourite is horror/thriller/dark fantasy. Adult themes are best (by which I don't mean hentai - inb4 boku no pico). I like Jidaigeki and medieval settings but modern settings are great too as it's tough to find any good jidaigeki I haven't seen. Feel free to try though - I'd love you and probably donate if you could find something as good as Shigurui in a jidaigeki setting.

I made a thread cos I have seen a lot of anime. I can't remember all off the top of my head but I will probably have seen a lot of recs that I will/would get. Hopefully my likes/loves have enough variation that you can see the different and common themes I like.

I am currently watching Kiseiju: Sei no Kakuritsu, Death Parade and Tokyo Ghoul but I'm looking for something that's already fully done or at least has a season out so I can blast through it. Though if I'm missing anything currently airing that might fit my likes then I would like to know for sure

the first episode is pretty dark and twisted, it should pull you right in.

Seems to have some sexual themes... not big on those tbh. But I will definitely watch the first ep and see
